Ocean Creatures!

I'm still longing for 80 degree weather! As promised, some of Dyllan's finds are in these pictures. We managed to get one picture with Shaine and one with me. Eeeks!

I'm trying to get more pictures of myself with the kids - hard to do when I'm the one always holding the camera. AND - I don't necesarilly like pictures of my myself. You know how that is? Destiny's face here is too funny. She displayed some serious attitude on our trip! Made me re-question many of my parenting skills, that's for sure.

Dyllan found a real live starfish, in the ocean! Super cool looking!

Here is some more true attitude!  I think if one more person told us how "cute" she was, I was going to scream. She was getting very good at saying thank you in her most polite voice, but how can all that not go to her head. Seriously, it is unreal! AND - I have found that African American people are totally drawn to her. YES - caucasions, too, but I do believe she just catches the eye of African Americans. We saw lots of pouting - quick mood swings - and lots of true "stubborn" girl! She would often times be trailing behind because she was mad about something. I never know if I should just walk away and leave her and wait for her to catch up or grab her and MAKE her come with. She seems to have no fear of being left - until she can't see us, but then I can't see her either and that makes me too nervous. This girl tries my parenting skills, that's for sure, but she is such a sweetie in the next second. We are for sure still a work in progress. All of us are, really~

The girls got to spend a bit of time at the Surf Club at our Ft. Lauderdale Hotel and they had a suffable plushable activity where they got to shove a whole bunch of stuffing into an animal. They loved it. AND - now I have two more stuffed animals to deal with at my house. Lovely!

She had to have PINK!!! Yes, a pink flamingo!

the starfish is crazy amazing. Dannicka is a girl for my heart - picking the giraffe. ;0 I don't think we ever know the exact answer when it comes to parenting questions. You are doing a wonderful job with your kiddos so whatever your doing, stressful or not, its working :)
