Christmas Eve Pictures

I am on the ball this morning with a few of the Christmas Eve Pictures I promised. The first is just the ONE lonely sick Dyllan picture. He was such a trooper though - coming to open presents with the rest of us. He is not back to his wonderful self!

Devan got a few FUN presents - this one is a break-away hoop for his bedroom door. I was hoping it would put an end to the playing basketball in my sunroom - but NOPE! No such luck there.

I'm going to have a contest to see who can guess what Dannika's gift is??? It's a tricky one! If you think you know - leave it in a comment and a prize will be coming - depending on where you live. I'm going to be mailing it - OR delivering it. Homemade laundry soap IF you live close by and if you are far away - a few great scrapbooking supplies, paper and stickers and ???

Destiny was excited to get a Barbie fishing rod from her brother!

The following are from Grandma and Grandpa Weelborg's house where we got together for a fun afternoon and evening!!

My two girls - best friends forever I think!

Devan and his sister - what a cute couple of kids!!

This is the whole crew, besides Dyllan! So bummed he could not be there for the annual BIG picture. I guess now we are just going to have to get them all together again!!! Baby Parker is also missing in action, that would be Larry and Jackie's newest addition!!

Dannika and her cousin, Kami. These two are in the same grade and LOVE getting together to play. They have become recess buddies as school, as they are not in the same class. AND - Dannka is super excited to spend some time with Kami over Christmas break!

I do believe anybody who has Dannika for a friend is the luckiest person! She amazes me daily with her heart of gold and her patience and sweet personality. I am so blessed to be this little punkin's Mama! On a health note: her CF doctor put her on 10 extra days of her strong Cipro antibiotic, but today is day 14 and I am stopping them. Dannika broke out in a slight rash last night, which may NOT have anything to do with the antibiotic, but ... I don't think she needs them anymore. We go down for her appointment January 5th and I would rather have her get a true reading than one doped on Cipro. Maybe that's a bad call on my part, but 20 days of Cipro is a LOT for her little body to endure. She is back to her "normal" and has been for about 3-4 full days now. I'm just following my mom instinct and saying that is enough. Praying that is the right instinct to follow!

Don't forget about the contest! Guess Dannika' present in the picture!!

I am going with Wall stickers for Dannikas gift.

As for the antibiotic...you deff. need to go with your mommy instinct. We have many times, called down and got prescribed a antibiotic only for her to immediately get better on her own, or for it to get better on day 10 and not need to coninue.

Glad she is feeling better and hope that her brother starts to feel better soon!
